Addressing Domestic Abuse, are researching the preparedness of social landlords and the implementation process regarding the introduction of domestic abuse within the Consumer Standards. The Consultation document from the Regulator of Social Housing set out proposals that Registered Providers must work cooperatively with other agencies tackling domestic abuse and enable tenants to access appropriate support and advice. The requirement also sets out that landlords need to have a policy for tackling domestic abuse and related issues.
We are gathering views from social landlords across England via a series of short surveys to inform an overview of how landlords prepared and implemented changes to meet and deliver against the domestic abuse element of the Neighbourhood and Community Standard within the Consumer Standards.
Our surveys are anonymous, and this first survey should only take between 2 and 4 minutes to complete. We would be very grateful if you could spare the time to feed into the process.
